Hot Hookup? New Details About J.Lo and Maksim’s Rumored Romance
UPDATE: Jennifer Lopez has responded to rumors she's dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy! She replied to a tweet about the romance, saying, "No I'm not. #rumors #nottrue," she then clarified with a second tweet, saying, "No I'm not. (dating anyone new already.)"
New details have emerged about the supposed romance between superstar Jennifer Lopez and “Dancing with the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
People reports that J.Lo and Maks met through mutual friends Leah Remini and her “DWTS” partner Tony Dovolani.
They went on to perform at the American Music Awards together late last year and have reportedly remained in touch. Jen was dating Casper Smart at the time, while Chmerkovskiy was with model Kate Upton.
Lopez even attended Maks' brother Val's birthday party at the Redbury Hotel in L.A. in March.
A source told the mag, "They are friends and have been talking." Another said they may soon publicly acknowledge the relationship. "I think they could. Who knows what will happen?"
The dating news comes less than a week after Lopez's split from Smart, who was reportedly messaging with a model on Instagram.
Lopez is currently promoting her new album "AKA," in stores June 17!
