Robin Roberts Confirms Michael Strahan Is Joining ‘Good Morning America’
"Extra" caught up with Robin Roberts at the SeriousFun Children's Network Gala on Wednesday, and the "Good Morning America" anchor confirmed that Michael Strahan is joining the "GMA" team.
Roberts told "Extra" that Strahan's "arrival is imminent." Robin, who has worked with Strahan when she filled in for Kelly Ripa on "Live with Kelly and Michael," said she can’t wait to have him on the show.
The morning show host also conveyed how sad she is to see "GMA" regular Josh Elliott go. On Wednesday’s show, Roberts said goodbye to Elliot, saying, "I'm going to miss Josh... I’m going to miss him so much. Who am I going to talk sports with now?"
