Jennifer Lawrence Explains Pixie Cut, Says Katniss’ Hair Won’t Change
Actress Jennifer Lawrence says chopping her hair was sort of a necessary evil.
Lawrence participated in a Yahoo! "Fireside Chat" with her "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" director Francis Lawrence, and joked to the audience, “I cut it earlier, and it grew to that awkward gross length, and I kept putting it back in a bun, and I was like, 'Well, I don't want to do this,' so I just cut it off. It couldn't get any uglier.”
The Oscar winner promised, however, that her “Hunger Games” character's hair will remain the same. “This isn't how Katniss is going to look in the next movies, don't worry. I'm wearing a wig."
Lawrence, who is known for experimenting with her look, “loves” her short hair, according to a source at E! Online.
