“Saturday Night Live” alum Kristen Wiig has signed up for “Anchorman: The Legend Continues,” the sequel to the 2004 comedy hit, joining her fellow "SNL" cohort Will Ferrell.
Wiig is set to play the wife of Brick Tamland, Steve Carell's mentally deficient weatherman known for saying such things as "I love lamp" and "I'm riding a furry tractor."It was all about the Super Bowl in New Orleans this weekend. Stars like Will Ferrell, Anna Faris and Jeremy Renner kicked off the fun at the Audi Forum New Orleans cocktail party.

“We've given close to $2 million in scholarships to kids,” explained Ferrell. “7-Eleven is helping to get the word out with this holiday cup, designed by myself.”
As for the upcoming “Anchorman 2,” Will promises it will be in theaters December, 2013.

"Extra" was in on the laughs at the first annual Comedy Awards Saturday, joking with honorees Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jon Stewart.
Ferrell was excited about joining "The Office" in the upcoming four-episode arc. "I'm starting the role of D'Angelo Vickers, the new manager who's taking over 'The Office,'" explained the actor. "It's pretty exciting. I love the show and it's an honor to be a part of it."
The "Other Guys" star and his pal, director Adam McKay, had some advice for Charlie Sheen, who is going on the road with his own comedy show.
