After making anti-gay statements on "Piers Morgan Tonight," Kirk Cameron was
blasted by his "Growing Pains" TV sister Tracey Gold, and now, his sitcom dad, Alan Thicke tweeted Monday, "I'm getting him some new books. The Old Testament simply can't be expected to explain everything."

Cameron, who became known for his Christian evangelicalism once "Growing Pains" ended, told Morgan that he thinks homosexuality is "unnatural," and that he does not believe in gay marriage.
Actress Tracey Gold is speaking out against former TV brother Kirk Cameron's anti-gay statements, and took to Twitter, writing, "I am a strong supporter of the #LGBT Community, and I believe in equal rights for all. #NOH8 #LOVE"

Gold, who starred in '80s sitcom "Growing Pains" with Cameron, changed her Twitter profile photo to a shot of her participating in the "NO H8" campaign -- a photo project in support of LGBT equality.

Tracey Gold is speaking out about the death of her "Growing Pains" co-star, Andrew Koenig.
"Today is a sad day," Tracey told UsMagazine.com. "My heart is broken for Andrew's family. I have such great memories of Andrew and our time together on 'Growing Pains.'"
