“Extra” is having a very good week, and it’s just getting better.
"Extra" has received the following statement from Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds:
"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further.
While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds got married today in front of 25 friends and family in Bora Bora, People reports.
As the sun set, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight's "Makings of You." Wearing a custom-designed gown by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, she made her way to Murphy under a shell-studded gazebo.
Murphy, 46, and Edmonds, 40, began dating last fall and announced their engagement in July.
