Country singer Trace Adkins’ wife Rhonda is ending their 16-year marriage.court documents obtained by E! News, Rhonda filed for divorce on Monday in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences.
Country singer Trace Adkins sat down for an exclusive one-on-one with "Extra's" special correspondent Alecia Davis to discuss the fire that nearly destroyed his Tennessee home in June.
Adkins, who was not home at the time of the blaze, was relieved to find out his wife and children had made it out safely without any injuries. "It's terrifying, but when you find out everybody's okay, then there's this unbelievable sense of relief," Trace said.
There were rumors circulating this weekend that British singer Cheryl Cole was back on as an "X Factor" judge, but FOX, Fremantlemedia North America and Syco TV confirmed with "Extra" Monday that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is definitely aboard as the fourth judge.
"Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of 'The X Factor,'" the companies said in a statement. "Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal."

Trace Adkins' 5,000-square-foot mansion in Brentwood, Tennessee was engulfed in flames on a scorching afternoon on Saturday. His children were inside, but managed to escape safely.
The couple's three daughters were watching a movie with a babysitter when they heard a huge crash. Unsure where the noise came from, the babysitter checked out the garage where she realized the home was on fire. She quickly called 9-1-1 and got everyone, including the family's pets, out of the home. Trace's wife, Rhonda, was out running errands and when she returned home, saw smoke and fire billowing from their home.
