In her interview on “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” with twin sister Tia Mowry, Tamera tearfully highlighted some of the attacks by haters, who called Tamera a “white man’s whore,” among other racial slurs.
Tamera said, “See, this is where I get emotional, because it's hurtful. Because when my husband and I are so openly -- and we're fine with showing -- is love. Love. But people choose to look past love and spew hate. That's what hurts me, because I've never experienced so much hate ever in my life, ever.”
Comedian Loni Love, "Sister, Sister" actress Tamera Mowry-Housely, reality star Tamar Braxton, former “Cheetah Girl” Adrienne Bailon and fashion host Jeannie Mai are taking on everyday women and pop culture topics in the new daytime talk show, "The Real."
