Simon Cowell told "Extra's" Terri Seymour that if he had to choose someone to perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding next April, England's newest singing sensation Susan Boyle would be the one.
"Susan Boyle would be perfect," Cowell said, adding that she should sing her signature song "Dreamed a Dream." Natch!
On Monday's "Dancing with the Stars," host Tom Bergeron announced that last week's ousted contestant, Michael Bolton, would stepping in for Susan Boyle on Tuesday night's results show. Susan came down with a severe throat infection and was unable to fly to Los Angeles. -- New York Daily News

Singer Susan Boyle has cancelled her "Dancing with the Stars" appearance on Tuesday's results show, "Extra" has learned.


"American Idol" judge Simon Cowell confirmed to reporters Wednesday night at the National Television Awards in London that he's in the process of securing acts for a charity single, the proceeds of which will aid the victims of last Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.
Cowell has not yet confirmed who will participate on the track, but The Sun speculated that he would likely secure "X Factor" sensations Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle, with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga also mentioned as possibilities.

Other celebs jumping on the charity music bandwagon include Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, said to be working on a remake of "We Are the World," with all proceeds to go toward Haiti relief.

Lady Gaga has dubbed "Britain's Got Talent" star Susan Boyle her "woman of the year" -- and says she's open to collaborating with her fellow artist.

"Our styles are different," Gaga, 23, tells In Touch Weekly. "I don't know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent."
Boyle has sold over 3 million albums since her debut album came out in November.
"I love Susan Boyle," the "Poker Face" star says, adding, "She was achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime."

Boyle isn't alone in her accomplishments -- during 2009, Gaga received critical acclaim for her two headlining tours, dropped The Fame Monster, and was nominated for five 2010 Grammy Awards.
