Funnyman Seth Rogen is pulling a multi-hyphenate with his next film, “The Interview.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rogen will be starring in the comedy, possibly reteaming with frequent co-star James Franco, who is being eyed for a lead role.
Superstar Barbra Streisand is returning to the big screen after a 16-year hiatus! The Oscar winner told “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli that it was her son, Jason, who convinced her to take a role in “The Guilt Trip.”
“That was the clincher,” she explained, “He said ‘Mom, I think you should do it.”
Penacoli spoke with Streisand and “Guilt Trip” co-star Seth Rogen and asked about revisiting the “The Way We Were” characters. Streisand smiled, “It's an interesting thing you should mention it… perhaps.”
Actor Seth Rogen and his longtime girlfriend, writer Lauren Miller, were married in Sonoma, Calif. on Sunday.
According to People, the happy couple wed in front of friends and family in a beautiful venue overlooking a vineyard. Guests included Rogen's pals and former co-stars Jonah Hill, Adam Sandler and Paul Rudd.
Here's a preview of what's opening at the movies this weekend, including the dark comedy "50/50," starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen; the rom-com "What's Your Number?" starring Anna Faris; the psychological thriller "Dream House," starring Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz; and the cop drama, "Courageous."
The words comedy and cancer don't usually go together, unless you're talking about Will Reiser's new film, "50/50," starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen.
Inspired by Reiser's personal battle with spinal cancer, his good friend Rogen talked about dealing with the serious subject matter, saying, "We just treated it honestly. We knew it wouldn't come across as insensitive because it's real."
Comedian Seth Rogen hosted the 19th annual "A Night at Sardi's," which benefits the Alzheimer's Association Wednesday night.
Hollywood and Broadway performers took the stage, singing selections from "Red, Hot and Cole", an all-star performance of songs by the legendary Cole Porter.

"Extra" headed down to Grauman's Chinese Theater to catch all the, er, green carpet action at the premiere of the comic-book flick, "The Green Hornet."
Stars Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz were on hand, with the lovely Diaz braving the chilly L.A. night air in a slinky red Azarro dress. "I was still warm from the car. It was like taking a muffin out of the oven and letting it rest a little bit," the actress laughed.
In the film, Diaz plays a sexy secretary for Rogen's spoiled playboy-turned-masked crimefighter, but admits if she had one superhero power, it would have something to do with French fries. "I could eat fried foods to save the world! I'm obsessed with fried foods right now. I can't stop!"
