Penn explained, "The fact that there are still five hundred thousand people in tarp shelters is frustrating and dangerous."

Oprah Winfrey traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Monday, where the network queen and philanthropist toured an encampment for displaced Haitians struggling to recover from the devastating 2010 earthquake.
Escorted by security guards, the Oprah walked through the area, which was once a golf course, with Sean Penn -- who helped create J/P Human Relief Organization -- an aid group that provides support to residents of the encampment.
The world now has a universal logo for human rights.
Robert De Niro, Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ann Curry, George Clooney, Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman, and Susan Sarandon showed support for the new logo, which was unveiled in New York at a gala event Wednesday.
The logo, called "Free as a Man," was created by a freelance graphic designer from Belgrade, Serbia and chosen in an online competition from over 15,300 submissions from over 190 countries.

Partying on in Thailand, "The Hangover Part II" pulled in $86.5 million over the three-day Memorial Day weekend, according to studio estimates. The film is now the best three-day weekend opener for a live-action comedy, beating 2002's "Austin Powers in Goldmember" - which debuted at $73.1 million.
The wild sequel, which involves a monkey and face tattoo, is estimated for a five-day total of $137.6 million, more than doubling what the first "Hangover" made: $59.2 million. On its opening night last Thursday, the comedy pulled in an enormous $31.6 million.
