Seal was photographed in Australia on Wednesday morning sans his wedding band for the first time since he and estranged wife Heidi Klum announced their separation.

The singer, recently interviewed by "Extra," said the couple planned to part ways amicably. "We both love each other very much. But as often happens, you just grow apart. You do it in the kindest most gentle and understanding way you can." He even mentioned how keeping his wedding ring on, despite the separation, was a symbol of his love for Klum.

Supermodel and "Project Runway" star Heidi Klum made a red carpet appearance last night still wearing her wedding ring at the amfAR gala in Manhattan, her first since announcing the split with husband Seal in January.

Klum, 38, looked stunning in a Roberto Cavalli gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Well, this is bad timing. Before announcing her 7-year marriage to Seal was over, Heidi Klum gushed about her husband in a candid interview with UK InStyle magazine's March issue, saying, "I don't know why we work, we just do. We are black and white. Yin and yang."

The "Project Runway" host revealed she was looking forward to renewing her vows with the singer on May 10.  "I'm determined to mark our wedding every year with a great party. We all work very hard and time goes by so fast and you can stumble over years without symbolic peaks in your life to remember -- so we create those."

Supermodel Heidi Klum broke her silence on Wednesday for the first time since announcing her split from Seal, her husband of seven years. The "Project Runway" host took to Twitter, writing, "Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. Really means so much. Thanks again...to the best fans in the world!"

The message was posted following Seal's guest appearance on several shows last week while he promoted his new album, "Soul 2." The singer appeared on "Extra" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and spoke openly about the breakup, insisting he will keep wearing his wedding ring, and that he still has the utmost respect for Klum.

Supermodel Heidi Klum has been keeping a low profile since announcing her split with husband Seal, reportedly living in a hotel.

X17online reports Klum has been seen at a posh Beverly Hills establishment for the past five days. A source told X17, "Heidi has been by herself the past few days. Sometimes her assistant is around briefly, but it seems she really wanted some time to herself."

Singer Seal graciously gave "Extra" his time, talking to host Mario Lopez at The Grove about his recent separation from wife Heidi Klum - and about his new album, "Soul 2."

Seal was very passionate about his second covers album, "Soul 2." "Every single one of those songs on 'Soul 2' I remember buying. Those are songs that kind of chronicled a certain chapter or chapters in my life. That was my motive."
