After "The Late Show" host David Letterman made fun of Rosie O'Donnell's whirlwind engagement to fiancée Michelle Rounds, a sharp-tongued Rosie fired back, asking, "Why is that Dave? Why? I don't remember making fun of you when you had sex with all your interns! I didn't make fun of your rampant, throbbing heterosexuality, did I, Dave?"
O'Donnell was responding to Letterman's monologue on Tuesday's edition of his show, when he joked, "The woman [Rosie] is marrying, her fiancée, was driving... and her car broke down. And guess what happened? Rosie pulls up right behind her in a tow truck."
After announcing her engagement to girlfriend Michelle Rounds on Monday, Rosie O'Donnell tweeted a photo of her fiancée's giant engagement ring, accompanied by the caption, "so so so happy."
Friends and fans have sent their well wishes to the comedian/actress, including Bravo executive Andy Cohen, who tweeted, "mazel on your engagement!"

Talk show host Rosie O'Donnell chatted with shock jock Howard Stern Tuesday on his radio show, dishing about her new girlfriend Michelle Rounds -- and how they are already talking marriage.
"I think it could be in the cards. It's legal in New York," said O'Donnell. "I think we've discussed it." When Howard commented it was moving fast, Rosie quipped, "C'mon, I'm 49 and I'm gay."
The funny lady also admitted she and Rounds are definitely in the honeymoon phase. "Well, honey, it's pretty new, and I'd say we have a very affectionate relationship," adding sometimes her kids say, "Ugh, mom, get a room!"
O'Donnell's new talker, "The Rosie Show," debuted Monday on OWN.
