“Extra” was at the all-star 2014 Stand Up to Cancer event on Friday, where Hollywood A-listers Pierce Brosnan, Gwyneth Paltrow and others talked about how the deadly disease has affected their lives.
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh was with Pierce Brosnan at the L.A. premiere of his film “The November Man,” where the actor shared his fondest memory of working with longtime friend Robin Williams on “Mrs. Doubtfire.”
Actor Pierce Brosnan’s daughter Charlotte, 41, has died after a 3-year battle with ovarian cancer, the same disease that took the life of Brosnan’s first wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1991.Eonline.com, Brosnan said, "On June 28 at 2 p.m. my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her husband Alex, children Isabella and Lucas and brothers Christopher and Sean. Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon."
Strutting down the red carpet in a body-hugging gown for the premiere of her domestic comedy, "I Don't Know How She Does It," Sarah Jessica Parker told "Extra's" AJ Calloway her entire outfit "from head to toe is all going back tomorrow so someone can borrow it, with the exception of my hair -- that's mine, I'm keeping it."
Playing a busy, career-minded woman and mother in the film, Parker humbly said, "There are women that do it far more heroically with grace and humor... [and] they do it quietly, and this is the movie for them."
"Extra" talked with Pierce Brosnan and organizer Paul Haggis at Vanity Fair's Campaign Hollywood reception to benefit Artists for Peace & Justice, an organization helping Haiti.
"What Paul has done with this wonderful organization has helped a country, a nation of people who are in dire need of sustenance and our care," Brosnan explained.

He's known for his smooth-talking ways as 007, but now Pierce Brosnan is about to sing! The actor dished about how he prepped for his upcoming role in the film version of "Mamma Mia" -- and overcame his so-called lack of singing skills to belt out some ABBA hits.
"If somebody gives you a job, you don't question it -- you say, 'I'm in.'" said Brosnan. "I would go home, make some coffee and I would go out to the beach, put my iPod on and sing 'SOS.'"
When the Brosnan became nervous about singing on set, he revealed, "I just looked at Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard, my cohorts in this -- and they were as scared as I was!"
"Mamma Mia" dances into theatres July 18.
