Even if it was a bit grueling, actress/activist Pamela Anderson ran the ING New York Marathon on Sunday, completing the 26.2-mile race in a respectable 5 hours, 41 minutes.
Actress Pamela Anderson announced plans to run the ING New York City Marathon to help out a good cause.
Anderson tweeted on Sunday, "I'm running the New York Marathon this year and raising funds for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization,” which aims to save lives and bring sustainable programs to the Haiti following the earthquake of 2010.
The writing was on the wall, according to Pamela Anderson. Shortly before getting the boot, she tweeted, “Waiting for the ax to fall.”
The actress was reportedly so upset that she skipped out on backstage interviews, leaving partner Tristan MacManus to handle the fallout alone.
“Dancing with the Stars” is back with an all-star cast, and the returning contestants can’t wait to get back in the ballroom.

Actress and animal activist Pamela Anderson is on a new mission to stop the mistreatment of horses in New York City, by asking the city to ban horse-drawn carriage rides.
Anderson talked with her "Dancing with the Stars" pal Tony Dovolani about it. "I don't think the horses are being taken care of very well. I think they have miserable lives. There are plenty of sanctuaries that are willing to take them in and get them out of the streets of New York.
