A tearful Rihanna sat down with Oprah Winfrey recently to talk about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The interview is part of Winfrey’s Barbados visit with the singer for her show “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
“I lost my best friend,” Rihanna said of the night that Chris beat her three years ago. “Everything I knew switched -- switched in a night and I couldn’t control that… it is not easy to interpret on camera, not with the world watching.”
Oprah traveled to superstar Rihanna's hometown in Barbados for an emotional, open conversation with the pop star about her career, the passing of her grandmother, and her controversial relationship with Chris Brown.

“I was really confused,” Paris admitted to Oprah. “I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask.”
The teenager has now come to understand her father’s motives. “I understand it now why our dad would want our face covered when we went out without him. We wouldn't be recognized, and we could have a normal childhood.”

Is it over between Oprah Winfrey and the Obamas? According to Ed Klein, author of the controversial Obama exposé “The Amateur,” the answer is yes, Michelle Obama doesn’t want Winfrey meddling with the President’s current campaign.
“When push came to shove... Michelle decided that she was not going to allow Oprah to become her husband’s chief advisor and closest associate,” Klein told “Extra.”
