Funnyman Paul Rudd hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the third time on Saturday… and in his opening monologue, he declared he would not to be overshadowed by the musical guest this time.
British boy band wonders One Direction came out on stage to stand around and look adorable, but Rudd was prepared. His fellow “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” co-stars Will Ferrell, David Koechner and Steve Carell stood next to Rudd, his "man band," and kicked off a fun-spirited battle for the ages.
The One Direction iHeartRadio Album Release Party will also stream on November 25, at 9:00PM ET for fans on Yahoo Screen as part of a partnership with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment to stream a series of live events. In addition, the party will be recorded and televised on The CW Network on December 9, at 9:00PM ET.
The boys -- Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne -- who are swarmed wherever they go, talked about how aggressive the photographers are in the US, compared to the UK.
Niall explained, “We’re coming into the airport, all you have to do is ‘snap, snap, snap… cool, cool, cool,’ but instead in L.A., it’s ‘jab, jab, jab… push, push, push.’ Not very nice.”
