“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes let her fans know she was heading home from the hospital on Wednesday after her health scare.her website, “There’s nothing better than me packing my bags and heading home! I gotta thank the doctors and nurses who took care of me around the clock! My girlfriends who walked me down the hall everyday, fed me, changed my clothes, had lunch with me and wiped my tears when it all became too much: Diana Gowins, Mashella Hampton, Mynique Smith, Cynthia Bailey and Lexis Mason. My husband Gregg, my sons Bryson and Brentt who stayed strong for mommy everyday. The rest of you who stopped by the hospital and you know who you are, thank you!”
NeNe Leakes was hospitalized on Monday, and she's setting the record straight about what happened. "Contrary to published reports I did not have a heart attack" the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star told fans via her website.
NeNe wrote, "After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung. I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job."

“Extra’s” AJ Calloway attended the 2013 Bravo Upfront presentation on Wednesday and caught up with all the Bravo celebrities, including “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes and “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” star Kim Zolciak.
Zolciak, who left “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in the middle of Season 5, told Calloway, “I do talk to NeNe, which I know is surprising to a lot of people, but we’ve had a long chat and we’re in a really good place. She matters more to me than anyone else because we were friends years before ‘Real Housewives.’ We have a lot of history together and my girls love her.”

Rumors have been swirling about whether Kim Zolciak, NeNe Leakes and the rest of the cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" will return for the next season.
"Bravo has been taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women about possibly joining the show," an insider tells the New York Daily News. "They're trying their best to keep the process under wraps, but they're gearing up to make a major move in the third season."
No word on whether a new cast member will replace any of the current stars, but Bravo tells "Extra," "No decisions have been made regarding next season."
