"Extra's" Terri Seymour talked with the "Dancing with the Stars" contestants after the results show Tuesday, including the first castoff, Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest).
"Man, you all missed out," said Mr. Peace. "I had a lot of things planned!"
As for those inevitable hookup rumors, Kristin Cavallari and partner Mark Ballas, who recently split from Pia Toscano, pooh-poohed any hanky-panky. Kristin said, "We're learning to dance. It's a lot of work. So romance is the last thing on our minds," to which Ballas added, "Yeah, let it go! Drop it!"
"Extra" caught up with TV host Nancy Grace at the "DWTS" rehearsal studio where she shared details about learning to dance -- and revealing performance attire.
The former prosecutor says, "'Dancing with the Stars'" is introducing me to spandex, sequins and fringe, which I have not been acquainted with since I entered the courtroom. You'll be seeing that and a lot of it."

After a "fun" evening of getting to know her "Dancing with the Stars" competitors at the show's launch party, a paparazzo asked TV host Nancy Grace, "So Nancy, do you think 'Tot mom' would vote for you?"
Grace laughed and replied, "No, I do not think that 'Tot mom,' Casey Anthony is going to be voting for me!"
"Extra" caught up with celebrity stylist and "Carson Nation" star Carson Kressley, who is paired with Anna Trebunskaya for season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars." Carson said, "Hi, I'm Nancy Grace, nice to meet you. We look so much alike when I have bangs."
Kressley, who is Ryan O'Neal's last-minute replacement, is feeling competitive with the former prosecutor, saying, "I'm really pickin' a fight with Nancy Grace... she is gonna mess up my hair!"
"Extra" correspondent Renee Bargh was backstage after the announcement of the Season 13 cast of "Dancing with the Stars," and she talked with the new crop of hoofers to find out who they think is their biggest competition.
"I'm not happy that David Arquette's on the show. I think he's got a real chance of winning," said contestant Chynna Phillips. Castmate Nancy Grace concurred, "What about David Arquette? Every time I open a tabloid there he is, dancing!"
After months of speculation, "Dancing with the Stars" has chosen their eclectic lineup for Season 13.
The cast includes: transgender advocate Chaz Bono; CNN host Nancy Grace; model Elisabetta Canalis; NBA player Ron Artest; former "The Hills" starlet Kristin Cavallari; TV personality Ricki Lake; singer Chynna Phillips; U.S. soccer goalie Hope Solo; actor David Arquette; Kardashian family member Rob Kardashian; celebrity stylist Carson Kressley; and "All My Children" actor and Iraqi war veteran J.R. Martinez.
In the highly publicized Casey Anthony murder case, the biggest question goes unanswered: What caused two-year-old Caylee's death?
Alternate juror Russell Hueckler told CNN he "wholeheartedly" agreed with the verdict. "They didn't show how Caylee died, and that was important. No one could answer that."
"Swift Justice's" Nancy Grace joined Adrianna Costa at The Grove on Wednesday to talk about her children and the current situation with Lindsay Lohan, and she breathed a sigh of relief when she talked about a recent health scare.
The former Georgia prosecutor, who has a tough-as-nails TV persona, spends her down time with her twins, Lucy Elizabeth and John David. "[I'm like] every other mom who's trying to hold down a job and raise a family the best way she can, which is very hard." She also confesses she is a total softie!
