Monica Lewinsky is stepping into the public eye again!
As veteran newswoman Barbara Walters looks to her retirement next summer, she already knows who she wants for her final interview… and it may surprise you. She’s looking for another sit-down with one of America’s most infamous mistresses, Monica Lewinsky.
The controversial relationship between former President Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky is the subject of a possible HBO film.
According to the NY Daily News, the film, titled "The Special Relationship," reportedly focuses on the period of time between 1997, when Tony Blair became Prime Minister of England, and 2000, when Hillary Clinton won the New York senate seat. If the film gets the green light, Dennis Quaid is slated to play Bill, Julianne Moore will portray Hillary, and Michael Sheen will star as Tony Blair.
The movie, penned by "Frost/Nixon" writer Peter Morgan, would mark the screenwriter's directorial debut -- if it receives the go-ahead.
