Country music stars LeAnn Rimes, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and others shined on the red carpet at the 2011 Country Music Awards.
Relative newcomers Jason Aldean and the Band Perry, along with 21-year-old singer/songwriter Taylor Swift, were the big winners at the 2011 Country Music Awards.

Swift picked up Entertainer of the Year, while Aldean won Best Album for "My Kinda Party." The Band Perry took Best Single and the New Artist award, while married country singers Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert won Best Male and Female Vocalist, respectively.
Country singer Miranda Lambert, who wed sweetheart Blake Shelton earlier this year, is now in a new band with her bridesmaids, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, called the Pistol Annies.

And the winner of "The Voice" season one is Javier Colon! "Thank you. I don't even know where to begin, other than to say that the three women behind me are absolutely awesome," said Colon after his win was announced.

Country singing sweethearts Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were married Saturday in Texas.

The newlyweds celebrated their union at the Don Strange Ranch, north of San Antonio, with guests, such as Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley, Reba and Kelly Clarkson, in attendance, reports People.com.

The 2010 Country Music Award nominees were announced Wednesday, and country starlet Miranda Lambert has made CMA history with a record-breaking nine nominations!

Lambert's nominations include Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Video of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
Lady Antebellum took the lead this year with seven Country Music Award nominations, while Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood came in second with six each. The 45th annual star-studded event, produced by Dick Clark Productions, will air live on CBS from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on April 18.
