“Gangster Squad” star Sean Penn and friends like Richard Gere and Mel Gibson are on a continuing mission to help the people of Haiti, following the third anniversary of a devastating 7.0 earthquake.
The actors gathered in Los Angeles for the Help Haiti Home Gala to raise money and awareness for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

Actor Mel Gibson was spotted having dinner with one of the wealthiest women in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Gibson and Formula One Heiress Petra Ecclestone grabbed a bite to eat at Boa on Sunset Blvd. Ecclestone’s husband, James Stunt, was also there, and Petra’s sister, Tamara.
Mel explained, “It's kind of mindless in a way, but at the same time it’s got something going on.”
Maria also asked Gibson if they remade “Braveheart,” who would he like to see in his role? The actor laughed, “Danny Trejo, the machete-wielding man in a dress!”

The actor plays a villainous arms dealer named Luther Voz. Mel explained, “He's an evil genius, he's kind of like a Bond villain in the gutter.
