FOX's “American Idol” kicked off Wednesday night with a whole lotta drama between feuding judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. After months of gossip about the dueling singers, the audience got to see firsthand just how much they hate each other. Oh, and there were some contestants auditioning too, but we’ll get to that later.
Singer Mariah Carey has increased security in the wake of her “American Idol” feud with Nicki Minaj. The “Obsessed” songstress revealed to Barbara Walters in an interview with ABC News that she was concerned about her safety after Nicki allegedly made comments about a gun.As auditions for the new “American Idol” season got underway in October, there was tension between the two women. One tiff was caught on camera (watch below), and Mariah has publicly claimed that after the row several people heard the "Pink Friday" singer say, "If I had a gun, I would shoot that bitch."
