Sugary sweet Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed vows on their five-year anniversary at the Happiest Place on Earth, California’s Disneyland, after the park closed on Tuesday night, reports the Daily Mail.
The nuptials, themed “Do you believe in fairy tales,” included Mariah and 2-year-old mini-me Monroe in princess-style gowns. Mariah rocked some serious bling and a sparkly tiara, while Roe looked adorable with pink bows in her hair.Singer Jennifer Lopez has opened up for the first time about rumors that producers want her to replace Mariah Carey on “American Idol.”
While out with boyfriend Casper Smart at the opening of Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at MGM Grand, J.Lo played coy about the buzz. “Um, you know, I don't have much to say about that right now,” she said.UPDATE: Nick Cannon reacted to the rumors on Wednesday, telling “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, “I haven’t heard that, but I think my wife is so focused on the future, what she is doing with her new album. She has such a good time with this show. Some people do it because that’s all they have, she did it because she thought it would be fun. If she continues to do it, I think she’s going to be great and if not, who knows.”
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story, claiming “American Idol” producers allegedly tried to revive the show by replacing Mariah Carey with former judge Jennifer Lopez. Sources told the mag that Carey’s team killed the plan by threatening litigation, however, show insiders say the entire story is bogus.
