Country music stars LeAnn Rimes, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and others shined on the red carpet at the 2011 Country Music Awards.
LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian returned from Chicago to Southern California and were spotted having lunch with Eddie's sons (with ex-wife and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star Brandi Glanville) Jake and Mason, according to X17Online.

The couple, who was staying in Chi Town for Cibrian's now canceled TV show, "The Playboy Club," is back in their hometown of Los Angeles for good.
Singer/actress LeAnn Rimes recently returned from North Carolina after being interviewed by Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and poet Maya Angelou, according to X17Online.

Angelou, 83, is currently working on a new Hallmark Channel show, "The Celebration Table," which focuses on celebrities who have inspired the "I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings" author throughout the years.
Each time LeAnn Rimes tweeted a bikini photo of herself, it sparked criticism of her weight -- from fans, the media or fellow celebrities. The singer cleared the air on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday.
While promoting her new album, "Lady & Gentlemen," LeAnn told Ellen, "I've kind of gotten over it." She called out those who labeled with an eating disorder, saying, "These are real diseases. Using them as name-calling, it's almost bullying. I feel for people who are actually going through these diseases. I'm not one of them."

Rapper and businessman Jay-Z, who owns a share of the New Jersey Nets, officially changed the team's name to the Brooklyn Nets. Brett Yormark, CEO of the Nets, said, "Brooklyn is iconic. It transcends the marketplace. In many respects, it's a global name and reference."

Slim country star LeAnn Rimes wants to set the record straight: she's not in a Twitter feud with E! Online host Giuliana Rancic over her weight.

A few weeks ago, Rancic gave an interview and commented about how thin Rimes looked, to which the 29-year-old singer responded via her Twitter account, "Hey, we should go to dinner sometime. You get criticized all the time for how small you are. You can see just HOW much I eat...!"
E! Online host Giuliana Rancic and country singer LeAnn Rimes are having a war of words over Rimes' weight.

Rancic spoke with the Huffington Post on Tuesday about the new Italian restaurant in Chicago she is planning to open with husband Bill -- and said the one celebrity she'd like to feed the most was Rimes.
