"Extra" is counting down five good reasons why Regis Philbin, who announced he would be retiring from "Live with Regis and Kelly" this November, should stay on the show -- with a little help from our celebrity friends.
#5: There will be millions of weeping women, like "Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford. "Regis, you can't go! So many women will be crying."
#4: Sleep is over-rated, although Christie Brinkley understands. "He probably wants to sleep in. I don't blame him, but he can't remove himself altogether!"
#3: You won't find a prettier co-host -- sorry Larry King. "Me and Regis do something together... it's a good idea," says King.
#2: It's a good idea for Regis to stay on "Live" or risk... The Situation, as in "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who says, "We kinda want one more season."
And the No. 1 reason Regis shouldn't leave? Howie Mandel can't handle it. "You're going to kill me if you quit. I can't live without you every morning."
"Extra" wants to know the reason YOU don't want Regis to go! Leave it in the comments below.
Do you have what it takes to sit next to Kelly Ripa? The audition tapes are already rolling in, but if you'd like to post your own audition tape, post it here and maybe "Extra" will show it online!
The stars were out Saturday evening in New York City to help celebrate QVC at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Fashion for Haiti.

"Gossip Girl" stars Chace Crawford and Kelly Rutherford attended the star-studded event which supported QVC and Fashion for Haiti, and featured a fashionable T-shirt developed to aid Haiti relief efforts.

A judge has granted a request for a temporary restraining by "Gossip Girl" mom Kelly Rutherford against her ex hubby Daniel Giersch. Rutherford claims the stress is affecting her ability to breastfeed!
In the documents, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Kelly claims Daniel has repeatedly harassed both her and their children's nanny. She says the harassment even forced the nanny to quit.
Rutherford also claims her stressful relationship with Giersch has affected her ability to produce breast milk for her 3-month-old daughter Helena. In the filing, the actress says, "I am not producing enough breast milk to store up quantities that can be given to Daniel for feeding Helena," adding, "I believe that the stress Daniel has created for me is also negatively impacting my ability to produce milk."
Giersch must stay 100 yards away from the actress, her home, vehicle, her mother and the nanny. He is allowed "brief and peaceful contact as required for court-ordered visitation."
The couple has two children together, Helena and 3-year-old Hermés. Rutherford and Giersch filed for divorce in December of 2008.
Actress Kelly Rutherford stays gorgeous with Physician's Formula makeup -- and she's opening up to "Extra" about all her beauty secrets, including the "Gossip" she craves from fellow stars!
A torrential downpour didn't deter celebrities from flocking to the QVC Style Dinner in East Hampton on Friday. Actress Angie Harmon dined and chatted with "Real Housewives" Kelly Bensimon, Bethenny Frankel, "Gossip Girl" Kelly Rutherford and designer Isaac Mizrahi.

"Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford welcomed baby girl Helena Grace in L.A. yesterday -- and the baby's dad claims to have found out on the Internet!
Rutherford's ex-husband, Daniel Giersch, released a statement to People magazine. "I was never informed by Kelly about the birth of our daughter, nor was I invited to attend. In fact, I found out about it through Internet reports like everyone else."
Kelly's rep tells "Extra" that Daniel's claims of not being notified are not true. "Daniel was notified when [Helena] was born and was immediately invited to come see her."
And that's all the gossip on that, baby.

"Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford's divorce has taken a turn toward the ugly.
In new court papers, Rutherford says she's worried her ex might try to leave the country with their 2-year-old son, Hermés.
The actress filed for divorce from husband Daniel Giersch in December, citing "irreconcilable differences."
