Reality TV star Kate Gosselin is keeping busy, staying in shape -- and raising the kids as a single mom.
In "Extra's" interview with the mom of eight, she admitted, "I don't want to be alone. I think I'm just scared to mess things up again."
Gosselin opened up about her ex-husband, Jon, saying she "tries" to get along him, but feels like they are "two completely different people." She probably needs someone stronger because "I don't want to be in charge anymore. I didn't like it when I was."

"Absolutely nothing true about it," a rep for Kate told "Extra." "The only thing we can think of how this came about was she was on Kimmel (when she was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars), so was the Bachelorette, and Kimmel joked that she should be the next one. She laughed at that idea."

"I'm spending a lot more time socializing and laughing, to be honest," Gosselin told "Extra" when asked how rehearsals are going. "You know the real competitors are really working hard so they lock their doors," she continues. "I don't like that because I can't socialize!"
