We've seen Jon and Kate's eight children grow up in front of our eyes, their very public divorce, and the Gosselin family splashed on the covers of supermarket tabloids. After six years, TLC is bidding farewell to "Jon and Kate Plus 8," which is now just "Kate Plus 8."
The best and worst moments, candid interviews with the nanny and bodyguard, and chaotic behind-the-scenes footage will be revealed in the show's finale, airing September 12 on TLC.
After the cancellation of her long-running TLC show "Kate Plus 8," a spin-off of "Jon and Kate Plus 8," Kate Gosselin is getting a hard dose of reality, admitting to People magazine, "I'm freaking out. Big time."
Kate says her children "weren't ready" to leave the show, which has been running on TLC since 2005. She adds, "Nobody was [ready]. I've never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don't know what's next."
Her six-year run on TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8" and "Kate Plus 8" will soon be over, but reality mom Kate Gosselin is hopeful about continuing in television, telling "Extra's" Steve Santagati, "I love being on TV. Wherever it takes me, I'm open to whatever."
If a career is TV isn't in her future, the mother of eight says she's cooked up other delicious ideas. "I wouldn't rule out a restaurant, but not a bakery... ask my kids, I fail in the baking department." Always in charge, Gosselin said she would "for sure" fulfill the role of chef if she decided to go the restaurant route.
Celebrity mom Kate Gosselin and her brood of eight are getting a break from reality TV. TLC has decided to end "Kate Plus 8" after this season.
"TLC has decided not to renew another season of 'Kate Plus 8,'" a network rep told People.com in a statement. "By the end of this season, 'Kate Plus 8' will have hit the 150 episode mark (including 'Jon & Kate Plus 8'); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future."
Reality TV mom Kate Gosselin and her brood prepare for another season of "Kate Plus 8" -- and in this preview, Gosselin tries to pick up a guy at the famous D.C. Cupcakes in Washington D.C.
In an interview with "Extra" special correspondent Steve Santagati, Gosselin explained she isn't opposed to dating. "I'm open to it," but added she really doesn't have much time to do it at the moment.
Mel Gibson and estranged wife Robyn stepped out together Saturday for a rare public appearance. The couple attended the 10th birthdays of two Guatemalan sisters, Maria de Jesus and Maria Teresa Quiej-Alvarez, who share a special bond with the Gibsons. The girls were formerly conjoined twins connected at the skull and were successfully separated in August of 2002.

Reality TV star Kate Gosselin hinted about possibly being involved in a new TV series called "Twist of Kate," which is still under wraps. "If it's not this show, I hope to be doing something else in TV. I've been given the gift of gab, so why not use it."
The reality mom also shared her thoughts on voting for Sarah Palin, her kids, and getting remarried.
