Even though the Venezuelan hunk recently gave an interview in which he made some controversial comments about gay men, Monday’s ratings were still high.
“Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis is quickly finding himself in hot water over comments he made about the possibility of having an openly gay season of “The Bachelor.”
Speaking with The TV Page at ABC’s TCA party on Friday night, Galavis said he didn’t think the dating series should go that route because it wouldn’t be “a good idea for kids to watch that on TV” and said gay people were “more pervert in a sense.”
“The Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis joined “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood as our special co-host, dishing about Season 18 and revealing the other competition reality show he would do.
As for being the new “Bachelor,” Galavis said it hasn’t been particularly easy. “People think, ‘Great, hang out with a bunch of ladies!’ but no, it’s not easy because I have to say goodbye to other people, which I hate.”
