After making headlines for losing 40 pounds, actor Jonah Hill headed to The Grove to talk about his new animated series, "Allen Gregory." The slimmed-down funnyman said, "I just started eating healthy and exercising... and that's about it." He added, "I wish there was some amazing book that had all the world's secrets, but unfortunately, it's just hard work."

Hill, who voices a precocious 7-year-old named Allen Gregory DeLongpre, said the character is not mirrored after himself. Hill explained, "Allen Gregory is like the most arrogant kid to walk the face of the earth."
Promoting his latest film, "Moneyball," Brad Pitt is on the cover of Sports Illustrated, but this time he doesn't talk about Jen Aniston.

Pitt plays Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who successfully drafted a baseball club on a budget by using computer-generated analysis.
Actors Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill made the cover of New York Magazine's Fall Preview issue, talking about their new movie "Moneyball," which focuses on baseball general manager Billy Beane and his unorthodox efforts to turn around the Oakland As in 2003.

Pitt came aboard in late 2007 to play Beane and quickly "became obsessed." "I saw it as a story about justice," he said. "How is a team with a $40-million payroll going to compete with a team with a $140-million payroll and another $100 million in reserves? Any talent they grow is going to get poached by the rich teams. That became really interesting to me."

Actor Jonah Hill surprised many when he showed up for the BAFTA "Brits to Watch" event Saturday looking decidedly thinner.

Hill, who told the L.A. Times he was unsure of how much weight he's dropped, revealed that he recently began working out and changed his eating habits because he "thought it was important to be healthier."
