Singer Jon Bon Jovi's daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested for heroin possession in New York on Wednesday morning after allegedly overdosing on the drug.
In the Town of Kirkland police report obtained by “Extra,” police were called to a dorm room at Hamilton College after someone found Bongiovi, 19, unresponsive.The TV industry is stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. NBC plans to throw a star-studded telethon Friday night to raise money for the cause, while ABC is coordinating a “Day of Giving” on Monday.
NBC’s hour-long telethon, dubbed “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together,” will feature music by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting and Christina Aguilera. Matt Lauer will emcee and Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams will make guest appearances. We previously talked to Bon Jovi about his meeting with Tom, and the singer recalled, "[Tom] and I went out and he was very intense about how do you do this, and I was like, 'Relax man, you're Tom Cruise, you can learn to sing a song. Don't worry about it!'"
Sofia Vergara gushed about her "New Year's Eve" co-star Jon Bon Jovi, saying, "When I was like 15 years old I had his poster on the wall near my bed. So for me, to do scenes with him, I was like emailing my girlfriends from high school and they were so jealous."
The sizzling star of "Modern Family" stopped by The Grove to talk about the holidays and her new clothing line at Kmart. Vergara explained, "Now that my son Manolo is in college, [the holidays] are not as traditional as it used to be, but it's a lot of fun."
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is giving back in a big way with a new passion project benefiting The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. The singer's new restaurant, The Soul Kitchen, aims to feed and empower those who are less fortunate.

Jovi explains, "People are going to bed hungry. This is New Jersey in America... that shouldn't be happening."

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is proud of the band's latest album, "Mylo Xyloto," and says of the bizarre title, "We wanted to have something that didn't mean anything else. We made up 'Xyloto.' When we Googled it, nothing came up. Mylo Xyloto doesn't bring any meaning with it, so in that sense we're beginning with a clean slate. Together, the words will mean what we make them mean with this music."
