Madden brothers Joel and Benji joined “Extra’s” Renee Bargh at Universal Studios Hollywood, where they dished about their love lives and their debut album, “Greetings from California.”
They're marrying on Saturday, so Joel Madden and Nicole Richie work well together as parents and as a couple, but Madden told "Extra's" Mario Lopez they'll never make beautiful music together, at least not the literal kind.
The celebutante does sing, but her Good Charlotte baby daddy says that collaborating on a song is out of the question. "No way! We couldn't work together," Madden said. "It'd be a disaster."
Celebutante Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte singer, Joel Madden tied the knot Saturday in Beverly Hills.
The lavish private ceremony took place at the beautiful estate of Nicole's father, Lionel Richie, where the former reality TV star, wearing a Marchesa gown, exchanged vows with her longtime beau.
"They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding," a source told People. com. "They're going all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day."
They've been together for three years and have two kids, now Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning a walk down the aisle!
The Good Charlotte singer confirmed his engagement to fashionista and celebutante Nicole Richie via his Twitter page.
"Yep. I'm engaged. Very happy. Yeah we've been engaged for a while so you're all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hoopla all the same," Madden Tweeted. "P.S. That's why I love my family and friends. None of them are sources. All good tightlipped people who let us enjoy it! Thanks everybody."
Musician Joel Madden hosted a special night at Moon Nightclub at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Thursday to support those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.
Part of the evening's proceeds were donated to the UNICEF Tap Project. Madden, served as DJ for the night, announced, "All the money that Moon Nightclub is going to donate to UNICEF tonight is really going to help and go a long way," adding, "I'm so happy and thankful to Moon and the Palms for doing that for UNICEF, and it makes tonight even more fun for me."
Madden and longtime girlfriend Nicole Richie both endorse the UNICEF Tap Project, which works with its partners to provide access to safe water and basic sanitation.

Nicole Richie has ditched her blonde locks for a chocolate brown 'do.
"I did it about a week-and-a-half ago," she told Usmagazine.com at the launch of her House of Harlow 1960 holiday collection at Bloomingale's in Costa Mesa, Calif. over the weekend.
"I change my hair color all the time and I hadn't done it in a few years," added Richie, 28, who lopped a few inches off her blonde hair earlier this year. "With the babies, I just really hadn't had time."
The reality star (who will produce her own scripted sitcom for ABC) welcomed son Sparrow this past September, and daughter Harlow -- who she says "loves being a big sister" -- in 2008.
"I'm so used to having that change all the time, and I hadn't done it in about two years, so I was just ready and sick of being blonde!" she continued. "I was ready for a change!"
Richie also opened up about how she'll spend the holidays with her beau Joel Madden.
"I don't have a lot of traditions," she said. "I have gotten a new Christmas ornament every year so I will probably do that. I'm a big eggnog drinker. Not the kind with alcohol in it, but the regular kind. I thought that everyone drinks eggnog, but as I'm getting older, I'm learning that people actually think it's really gross, but I love it, so I will definitely have some eggnog!"
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have a little ham on their hands.
Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, posed for a series of snapshots with their children Harlow Winter, 22 months, and Sparrow James, 3 months -- and the couple's little girl gets silly, sticking out her tongue for the camera!
The family posted the photos on Richie's website.
Nicole and Joel have been dating since late 2006.
