Lee recently weighed in on the Quentin Tarantino film about an American slave seeking revenge, saying in an interview, “it’s disrespectful to my ancestors, to see that film” and then tweeting, "American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves. Stolen From Africa. I Will Honor Them."
Hollywood is demanding a plan for gun control. Stars like Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and others went to Smashbox Studios in L.A. and Steiner Studios in Brooklyn to appear in a new 90-second PSA to help put an end to gun violence.

“Extra” special correspondent Tony Dovolani caught up with stars Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington to talk about the film, which received five Golden Globe nominations last week.Over the weekend, oscar-winner Jamie Foxx brought a mashup of '90s-style standup, singing and a game show parody to NBC's hit comedy show, "Saturday Night Live."
Foxx's monologue included a cameo by rapper 2 Chainz, followed by the night's first sketch, and a game show parody, "B****, What's the Answer?"
Jamie Foxx, Quentin Tarantino, Tyler Perry and Laz Alonzo will join previously announced presenters Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer, Taraji P. Henson, Meagan Good and superstar host, Samuel L. Jackson.
The stellar lineup of musical performers includes D'Angelo, Usher, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and others.

Madonna, Simon Cowell, Jamie Foxx, Usher and more of Hollywood's glitterati celebrated at United Center for Oprah Winfrey's final tapings, culminating her impressive 25 years in television. "Extra's" AJ Calloway was there to capture all of the excitement and shared his photos from the event via Twitter!
Madonna told AJ about Oprah, "I like her because she's smart, she's really smart. I like anyone who encourages people to read. She's very dignified and she just keeps going."

President Obama attended two dinner parties and a giant reception Thursday night with Hollywood A-listers Steven Spielberg, Jamie Foxx, and nearly 60 other wealthy supporters who paid $35,000 apiece to attend the event.
