It was the reality showdown (or meltdown?) of the year on Monday's "Bachelorette" special, in which Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi faced off in a battle of the he said/she said star-crossed lovers, regarding their nasty breakup.
What started off as a fairytale romance on "The Bachelor" turned into a bitter exchange of insults, with Vienna's parting words for Jake being, "You're a fame whore" and "the fakest person I've ever met." Not exactly hearts and flowers.

Reality TV star Jake Pavelka is picking up the pieces and moving on from his breakup with Vienna Girardi, starting with a guest appearance on "Drop Dead Diva."

"Extra" has received the following statement from Warner Bros. and ABC Television:
"Former 'The Bachelor' participants Jake and Vienna taped an interview last night. As this was the first time the two had seen one another since their recent breakup, the atmosphere was emotionally charged. However, and contrary to reports that have surfaced about the interview, at no time was anyone ever physically in harm's way, nor was anyone ever threatened with physical violence."
Jake spoke exclusively to "Extra" about his breakup with Vienna and their face-to-face special, airing on "The Bachelorette," Monday, July 5.
In an exclusive interview with "Extra's" Mario Lopez, "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka says he felt disrespected as a man by ex Vienna Girardi and that he'll forgive her, but it's going to take some time to forget.

In "Extra's" exclusive interview with "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka, he set the record straight on why he and Vienna split.
"Like any relationship, you know, you have problems," Jake told to "Extra's" Mario Lopez. "You're two different people. You have to work things out."
"When I got down on one knee I meant it," the "Bachelor" star confessed. "I loved her and was willing to fight for her. In my opinion, you really don't break up until you're ready to about kill each other -- or you sell the other person out."
The recently split "Bachelor" couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will be face-to-face again July 5 on ABC's "The Bachelorette."
"Extra's" Mario Lopez sat down with "The Bachelor" star in a very candid and exclusive interview, in which Pavelka opened up about his recent break-up with fiancée Vienna, rumors in the media -- and their upcoming reunion on "The Bachelorette."
"Bachelor" Jake Pavelka and ex fiancee Vienna Girardi haven't wasted anytime talking to the press about their shocking split, but both have very different stories on how their fairytale romance crashed in a flurry of different stories.
Vienna claims she and Jake hadn't been intimate for over four months, while Jake says that's simply not true.
