The power couple headed for The Hamptons, stopping briefly at a supermarket in Manorville, Long Island along the way. Weiner reportedly sang along to a '50's song that was playing inside the store, while America continued to talk about his resignation. President Obama appeared on "GMA," where he shared his thoughts on Weiner's future. "I wish Representative Weiner and his lovely wife well," Obama said. The 34-year-old is the fifth woman named since the Weiner scandal, er, popped up last week.

The 52-year-old film and TV star, a devoted Democrat, previously told "Extra" of his interest in running for office, but said it would be difficult to leave show business. In an interview last month, Alec said he wouldn't dive into politics anytime soon because "that would mean giving up what I'm doing now, and I'm not ready to do that yet."
