Anthony Weiner and wife Huma Abedin escaped to Miami for a romantic weekend getaway to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The couple, who married in Long Island, looked like they had patched things up and seemed very much in love, according to Page Six.
Huma Abedin is taking time off from her work with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as from her sexting husband, Anthony Weiner, according to the NY Post.

Abedin, who is pregnant with their first child, will be taking a much-needed break in an undisclosed location. "She is definitely taking time away from her husband and chilling," a source confirmed.
Following the Congressman's resignation on Thursday, Anthony Weiner was mobbed by photographers and the media as he returned to his Queens apartment. Minutes later, he and his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, got into a car holding a weekend bag, and escaped the madness by leaving Manhattan.

The power couple headed for The Hamptons, stopping briefly at a supermarket in Manorville, Long Island along the way. Weiner reportedly sang along to a '50's song that was playing inside the store, while America continued to talk about his resignation. President Obama appeared on "GMA," where he shared his thoughts on Weiner's future. "I wish Representative Weiner and his lovely wife well," Obama said. "I'm confident they'll refocus and they'll end up being able to bounce back."
Representative Anthony Weiner has revealed to friends that he plans to resign his seat, following growing pressure from colleagues in Congress, according to the NY Times.

Weiner reached the decision to step down after having discussions with his wife, Huma Abedin, who returned Tuesday after a Middle East trip with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Traci Nobles is the latest to be named in the many online flirtations of Congressman Anthony Weiner, this one through Facebook.

The Athens, Georgia woman was outed by her roommate, who sent the Las Vegas Sun a screenshot of a private conversation on Facebook after Nobles inadvertently left her account open. The conversations took place last August and were not as salacious as some of the others that have gone public. The 34-year-old is the fifth woman named since the Weiner scandal, er, popped up last week.

Paramount announced today that the J.J. Abrams mystery thriller "Super 8" will open Thursday, a day earlier than its scheduled midnight Friday release date, and along with Twitter, are hyping it as the first "Tweet movie sneak preview."

"30 Rock's" Alec Baldwin may decide to run for Mayor of New York City, now that Congressman Anthony Weiner -- once a mayoral hopeful -- has his Twitter and sexting scandal to deal with. Baldwin's spokesman tweeted about the actor's political aspirations, saying, "I wouldn't rule it out."

The 52-year-old film and TV star, a devoted Democrat, previously told "Extra" of his interest in running for office, but said it would be difficult to leave show business. In an interview last month, Alec said he wouldn't dive into politics anytime soon because "that would mean giving up what I'm doing now, and I'm not ready to do that yet."
