Actor Hugh Jackman celebrated his birthday with "Extra's" AJ Calloway, talking about his hit movie, "Real Steel" -- and about his work with the Laughing Man charity.
Calloway presented Jackman with cupcakes, which the hunky star appreciated. "Next summer, I'm starting 'Wolverine,' so I'm going to eat these while I can because it's over pretty soon."
As for "Real Steel" being the No. 1 movie in the America, Jackman said it was getting his kids' approval that mattered most. "I think for a second, just a little bit, I might have seen in my son's eyes, 'I think my dad is kinda cool.'"
Here's a preview of what's opening in theaters this weekend, including the Disney family action flick "Real Steel," starring Hugh Jackman, and the political drama "The Ides of March," starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling.
"Extra's" Terri Seymour caught up with actor Hugh Jackman at the premiere of his new film, "Real Steel" -- where he said this was the first time his son Oscar, 11, and daughter Ava, 6, would see him kissing a woman other than their mother.
"I had not even registered that my son and daughter were about to see me kiss another girl for the first time," laughed Jackman. "It's the first movie of mine they've seen. As it came up, I went, 'Oh no.' I said [to his wife] 'Deb, uh oh.' Both of us looked and then Oscar said, 'Yeah, you're going to be in trouble, Dad.' He didn't even look at me. That's all he said about it."

Action star Hugh Jackman is back on the big screen with his futuristic robot flick, "Real Steel."
Jackman told "Extra's" Renee Bargh about his shift from playing "X-Men's" Wolverine to his role as boxer Charlie Kenton. "What was nice about this movie was not doing a lot of action, really. Most of the action is the robots in the ring," adding, "This was a boxing movie where I didn't get my head knocked off, so it was great."
