Howard Stern and Howie Mandel surprised fans with a wild kiss on “America’s Got Talent” Wednesday night.
Backstage, host Nick Cannon jokingly referred to it as “the kiss that shook the world,” while Heidi Klum was shocked that germaphobe Howie won’t shake people’s hands, but had no problem kissing Howard.
“Extra” caught up with the judges and host of “America’s Got Talent” after the show. Find out what Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Nick Cannon, Heidi Klum and Mel B had to say about Hollywood’s hottest headlines.
Check it out, including a Twitpic of Heidi when she was 11!
Mandel has been supporting Barry, saying on Wednesday’s show, “He would sell more tickets than anybody else!” Stern, however, said, “There's a ton of people with more talent than Big Barry.”
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway tried to play mediator for the two judges, who were still arguing over the act.
Now that Regis Philbin's time on "Live with Regis and Kelly" is nearing an end, "Extra" wants to know who you think should step into the spot.
Some of those rumored to be in contention are already out, including "Real Housewives" host Andy Cohen and Ryan Seacrest. Kelly Ripa told "Extra" she doesn't have a clue. "I swear, they've told me nothing! If I knew something I would tell you."
TV personality Howie Mandel chatted with "Extra's" Renee Bargh at The Grove about a new reality show called "Mobbed," which deals with surprising someone with a flash mob. Mandel invites you to get involved!
"If you have an idea, like if you want to quit your job or tell someone the baby's yours, or have a surprise and you want it to be shown in a flash mob, go to fox.com/mobbed and tell us your idea and why we may bring them to a public place and have a big dance... do the message."
"Extra" is counting down five good reasons why Regis Philbin, who announced he would be retiring from "Live with Regis and Kelly" this November, should stay on the show -- with a little help from our celebrity friends.
#5: There will be millions of weeping women, like "Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford. "Regis, you can't go! So many women will be crying."
#4: Sleep is over-rated, although Christie Brinkley understands. "He probably wants to sleep in. I don't blame him, but he can't remove himself altogether!"
#3: You won't find a prettier co-host -- sorry Larry King. "Me and Regis do something together... it's a good idea," says King.
#2: It's a good idea for Regis to stay on "Live" or risk... The Situation, as in "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who says, "We kinda want one more season."
And the No. 1 reason Regis shouldn't leave? Howie Mandel can't handle it. "You're going to kill me if you quit. I can't live without you every morning."
"Extra" wants to know the reason YOU don't want Regis to go! Leave it in the comments below.
Do you have what it takes to sit next to Kelly Ripa? The audition tapes are already rolling in, but if you'd like to post your own audition tape, post it here and maybe "Extra" will show it online!
