The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II welcomed Britain’s A-list movie stars to Buckingham Palace on Monday, hosting a reception honoring the country’s theater and film talent.
Dame Helen Mirren is one class act. The actress fulfilled a 10-year-old boy’s dying wish to have afternoon tea with Queen Elizabeth by posing as Her Royal Highness and visiting with the young man.
When Her Majesty was unable to accommodate the child, Mirren, who won the Best Actress in 2006 for portraying Queen Elizabeth II in “The Queen,” stepped in and invited Burton and his family to see her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in a play she's currently in called "The Audience."
Last week's winner for best pic went to Halle Berry, who looks incredible in a bikini at 45!

Actress Helen Mirren shows off her sexy patriotic side in the latest issue of Esquire magazine. The actress, wrapped in a Union Jack... and nothing else, proves that age ain't nothin' but a number!
Mirren, who won an Oscar for playing the Queen of England, beat out 25-year-old Megan Fox in the publication's Sexiest Woman Alive competition.
Not long before the royal wedding, "Extra" caught up with superstars Rihanna, Elton John, Helen Mirren and Cyndi Lauper at NYC's DKMS Annual Gala. The celebs wished the royal couple the best of luck together, as well as some solid advice for the future. Rihanna gushed, "It's marriage! It should be exciting. You guys look in love. I'm really excited for you."
Pop star Cyndi Lauper said, "Live a happy life, you know it's a long road. Be as happy as you can."
"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with the big stars of "Arthur" at its premiere in NYC Tuesday night. Russell Brand compared himself to his character and described Arthur as a "crazy, fun-loving, lunatic, womanizing cad like I used to be before I got married."
The comedian said he is "happily married" to wife Katy Perry and would sacrifice everything for love -- like the song by Meat Loaf. "I haven't been watching 'Celebrity Apprentice' but I've heard he's [Meat Loaf] being eccentric," Brand said.
