The Facebook page for Amy’s Baking Company was an ugly mess after owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo were featured on Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares.” Outraged viewers flooded the restaurant’s social media outlets, including Yelp, to call them “horrible,” “rude” and their behavior “criminal.” The twosome appeared to hit back at posters with an all-caps tirade, but they now say a hacker is to blame.
The couple’s behavior on the show was even too much for Ramsay. For the first time, he walked out before renovations. In the episode, which aired May 10, the Scottsdale couple was accused of stealing tips from employees, selling desserts from other restaurants and being extremely rude to customers.
