Ryan Gosling, nominated for two awards, was nowhere to be seen on Sunday night's star-studded Golden Globes in Beverly Hills. George Clooney, Gosling's "Ides of March" co-star, said on the red carpet, "It's too bad he's not here. I wish he was. But if he showed up he might just be too good-looking to handle." It is speculated Gosling's hectic shooting schedule prevented him from attending the festivities.

"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli chatted with the dapper George Clooney and his lovely date Stacy Keibler on the 2012 Golden Globes red carpet -- and asked the actor about the rumor he was starting a tequila company.

"Yeah, we're starting a little tequila company," said Clooney. "We're working on it, not there yet. It's going to be fun, I think."

It was date night at the 2012 Palm Springs Int'l Film Festival! George Clooney and his lovely lady Stacy Keibler were there, as were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, celebrating their Oscar-buzzing films.

Pitt, who was walking with a cane after a minor skiing tumble, was handed the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his performances in "Moneyball" and "The Tree of Life."

The actor explained his injury to "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli on the red carpet. "New Year's Eve, I was carrying my daughter down a hill. I slipped and it was either me or her... so she's fine."

Dressed in a plunging, black Alexander McQueen suit, Sandra Bullock was asked about good friend George Clooney's recent Golden Globe nominations for "The Descendants," and the actress joked, "I don't care about George! This is my night!"

Bullock continued the wisecracking with, "Does he not have enough? He's got a gorgeous girlfriend, he's got a thriving career, he's doing okay financially... so, he gets a couple of nods. Does that make him more of a man? No. Does it make me less of a woman? Well..."

Actress Stacy Keibler visited "Extra's" Mario Lopez at The Grove and talked about her handsome beau, George Clooney, who is recovering from elbow surgery.

Stacy revealed, "He's good. He's healing faster than expected." Keibler explained Clooney needed the operation after years of wear and tear from "being athletic," and added, "He's superhuman."
