Strong Santa Ana winds ripped through Southern California Wednesday night, wreaking havoc and causing power outages, fallen trees, phone outages and damaged property.

Thousands of people were affected, including "Extra" host Mario Lopez, Dr. Drew Pinksy, host of "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers," along with actors Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart.

McSteamy is going to rehab. "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane checked himself into a treatment facility for an addiction to pain medication.

Dane's rep told TMZ, "Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus."

The annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball honors remarkable leaders in film, TV and music. This year marks the event's 10th anniversary, and honorees will include activist and actress Olivia Wilde, Founder and Head of Stuber Pictures, Scott Stuber, and WME Board Member Richard Weitz.

Additional celebrities in attendance are: Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane, Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau.
