Pop princess Demi Lovato is setting aside the mouse ears to make her network debut on "Grey's Anatomy."

The 17-year-old star of Disney Channel's "Sonny with a Chance," has landed a guest appearance on the hit ABC show, calling it one of her "biggest dreams" on her Twitter page.

"American Idol" said so long to Paige Miles Wednesday night and whittled the contestants down to the top 10.

Tim Urban and Katie Stevens also made the bottom three this week, in which the contestants had to sing songs from Billboard No.1 hits. But it was Miles off-pitch rendition of the Phil Collins' hit "Against All Odds," that did her in and had all the judges crinkling their noses.

Teen idol Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, 17, is going to give the "American Idol" singers a little advice.

Cyrus will bring her voice of experience as a guest mentor on the show this week, Reuters reports, and will coach the remaining 11 contestants as they sing songs from Billboard's #1 hits.

She will also perform on Wednesday night's results show, along with her Disney Channel cohorts, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

The proceeds help fund lifesaving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., one of the nation's leading cancer centers, where many of today's most successful cancer treatments were made possible.

Last year, Cyrus, Lovato and the Jonas Brothers "Concert for Hope" helped raise more than $1.2 million.

Miley is personally donating $1 from every ticket sold during her current Wonder World Tour! On her last tour, she raised more than $2 million to benefit City of Hope.
