“X Factor” judge Demi Lovato is joining the cast of “Glee” as Dani, one of Rachel’s struggling artist friends in NYC.GossipGirl.com reports Lovato will team up with Naya Rivera aka Santana for a duet, singing the Beatles tune “Here Comes the Sun.”

“Extra” caught up with Jane Lynch at a TV Academy event on Monday, where Lynch dished about the new season of “Glee.”
“Extra’s” Mario Lopez chatted with Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato about what to expect on the next season of “The X Factor.”
Cowell is gearing up to reinvent the show. “It's got to be more fun. It's has to be a bit more crazy because I like doing shows like that. It was a bit serious last year.”

Lovato told the mag, “He’s a grump. An old fart. But he has a heart that nobody gets to see. If he walked into this room, he’d treat everybody the same -- he shakes everyone’s hand.”
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Demi Lovato at TopShop's new Los Angeles location at The Grove, which opens Valentine’s Day. The pop singer talked about “X Factor,” her broken leg and her body image.
Cowell talked about the recent “swatting” prank that propelled him into the news. Simon explained, “I was asleep and the police turned out. They were told that I was tied up in my bedroom with duct tape.” Then he laughed to Terri, “You were probably behind it.”
After Cowell’s boy band Emblem3 performed Wednesday, Lovato expressed some strong feelings. She commented, “I just don't understand what Simon is doing with you guys. Every week I know you are going to be standing next to each other singing a song, but people are going to like you because you are good looking. I don't think this is genuine at all.”
