Actress Christina Applegate not just a cancer survivor -- she's a mom.
The actress, 39, who opted for a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, is happy to move on from that ordeal following the birth of daughter Sadie Grace on Jan. 27.
Applegate told People.com, "I've had to talk about that word [cancer] more than I've ever had to talk about a word in my life. After a while, you're like, 'There's got to be something else to me.' Sadie has healed me in so many ways, just made my life so much better. She's opened my whole soul."

The "Stand Up to Cancer" telethon Friday was an opportunity for Hollywood A-listers to stand up for those who have had or are now battling the disease, including Michael Douglas.
"He's one of my favorite actors ever," actor Rob Lowe told "Extra's" Lauren Sanchez. "One of my favorite people ever, and he's got everything going for him. Everything."
"Stand Up to Cancer" Co-Founder Katie Couric added, "I think he's remarkably courageous. I think he's so brave to talk candidly and openly about his situation."
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are keeping us guessing about their on-again/off-again relationship.
"We came separately... we don't have to do everything alike," Barrymore jokingly told "Extra's" Terri Seymour at the red carpet premiere of their romantic comedy, "Going the Distance," to which Long replied, "That's true."
