Chaz Bono joined “Extra’s” Maria Menounos at Universal Studios Hollywood and opened up about the weight loss that saved his life.
Bono admitted before he did “Dancing with the Stars” he was in denial about being overweight. “I was kind of in denial about how heavy I was, but was ready to do something about it. I was thinking that it was holding me back from opportunities in my life, and I was worried about my health.”

1. Chaz and Jennifer have called off their engagement and "are no longer a couple," according to TMZ.
Controversial "Dancing with the Stars" alum Chaz Bono paid a visit to The Grove and revealed he is rooting for "J.R., but it could be anybody's game." Bono, who was eliminated from the competition series last month, said, "Everybody's coming back for the finale."
The transgender advocate recently appeared on Howard Stern's radio show, where he expressed interest in hosting a talk show. Chaz explained, "Actually, somebody tweeted me this idea of me, J.R. (Martinez), David (Arquette), and Carson (Kressley) doing something together. And I just thought, 'What an interesting group of guys we all are, this could be really good.'"
Transgender advocate Chaz Bono chatted with Howard Stern on Tuesday on the shock jock's SiriusXM radio program, where he said he wants to do a "View"-like talk show with his "Dancing with the Stars" compadres.
"I want to do a show with David Arquette, J.R. Martinez and Carson Kressley... do a male version of 'The View' with the four of us."
Stern thought it was a great idea and offered Bono a chance to test the TV talk show idea on the radio. "I want you to do a test show here on Howard 100."
