The stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones was "thrilled" to accompany her husband, cancer survivor Michael Douglas, to the Palm Springs Int'l Film Festival Thursday night where he received the festival's first Icon Award.
"It's just overwhelming how you think when you love somebody and when they go through adversity that you could love them even more," Zeta-Jones gushed to "Extra's Terri Seymour," adding, "I'm just a happy bunny!"
The Oscar-winning actress was also amazed by how Douglas' sense of humor prevailed through his cancer treatment. "His strength and humor, which is hard to believe when you go through that, that you still have a sense of humor -- and he did."
A healthier-looking Michael Douglas talked about his cancer treatment and the long recovery road ahead, crediting his family for getting him through the chemotherapy "hellhole."
"Cancer has shown me what family is. It showed me a love that I never knew really existed," the Oscar-winning actor told The Hollywood Reporter in his first major interview since announcing he had Stage 4 throat cancer. "I've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support."

Douglas also talked about having a very bad year, including seeing his son, Cameron, sent to prison on a drug conviction, and being sued by his ex-wife, Diandra, who demanded 50 percent of his earnings from Douglas' sequel, "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."

Douglas and Zeta-Jones are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary.
The latest rumor coming out of the mill is that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are trying for another child, or so reports Star magazine.

According to the tabloid, Zeta-Jones has longed for an addition to their family, but Douglas resisted. Now that he's gone through his battle with throat cancer, however, a Star source said he changed his mind and agreed to give her this "final gift," saying, "Family sources believe he decided to have his sperm frozen before starting treatment."
Michael Douglas' wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, told reporters on Wednesday at the Ryder Cup "Welcome to Wales" gala, that her husband is "doing very well."

Jones revealed that her Oscar-winning husband, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer at the beginning of August, has almost completed eight weeks of cancer treatment. "He is about to finish his treatment and the doctors could not be happier," she said.
Today Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are celebrating their birthday's. Catherine turns 41 today and her Oscar-winning hubby is now 66.
