The Great White Way's big night brought out all the glitz and glamor, as beauties such as Scarlett Johansson, "Glee's" Lea Michele, Cate Blanchett, Catherine Zeta-Jones and many more arrived to the 2010 Tony Awards red carpet.
Word from down under is that actress Cate Blanhett suffered a head injury after being hit by a prop during a stage performance in Australia on Wednesday.
During Wednesday's show, cast member Joel Edgerton threw a radio, as scripted, which hit Blanchett on the head. The Oscar-winner is currently starring as Blanche DuBois in The Sydney Theatre Company's "A Streetcar Named Desire."
An audience member tells the Sydney Morning Herald that "she had blood streaming down the back of her head and blood on the back of her neck."
"She acted for about another 30 seconds, then ran into what we thought was the next scene, but before we knew it the lights were turned on and we were told there were technical difficulties and everyone had to evacuate the Sydney Theatre Company," the witness adds.
The Sydney Theatre Company released a statement saying, ''Cate's fine. I've just spoken to her and she's fine.''
Cate Blanchett is up for a Golden Globe for her work in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," she's a Vanity Fair cover girl, and a mother of three to boot! Is the actress ready to add baby number four to her growing family?
In an interview with the magazine, Cate reveals that she isn't ruling out having more children with filmmaker husband Andrew Upton. "Who knows?" The actress told Vanity Fair. "Don't close those doors. The world is very overpopulated, but we do make nice ones. They all look like Andrew. To say he has dominant genes would be an understatement."
The Oscar winner and her hubby are proud parents of Dashiell John, 7, Roman Robert, 4 and Ignatius Martin, 8 months.
"Extra" spotted a blonde and buff Brad Pitt on a private beach in the Caribbean.
The beautiful beach was shut down just for Brad, as he shot scenes for his latest movie, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," with Cate Blanchett.
Meanwhile, as her daddy did what he does best, Baby Zahara was photographed under the watchful eye of a gigantic bodyguard nearby.
Brad came straight to "Extra" to talk shop and gush about his family crop back home.
"Family life is beautiful, it's just the greatest," the hunky actor dished.
Pitt's powerhouse performance in "Babel," opposite co-star Cate Blanchett, is already generating Oscar talk for the star. But Brad confessed he doesn't need an Oscar to enrich his life.
