Shortly after midnight, Brooke Mueller was arrested and charged with assault and possession of cocaine in Aspen, Colorado. Charlie Sheen's ex was booked on a misdemeanor 3rd degree assault charge.

The Aspen Police found Mueller inside a nightclub called Escobar after she allegedly assaulted a woman near the club.

"Extra" reported earlier this week that former husband and wife Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were on a romantic getaway, sparking rumors of reconciliation.

Although Sheen denied they were getting back together, "Extra" sources say otherwise, claiming the actor and his ex are living together, trying to reconcile and be good parents to their 2-year-old twin sons.

Arriving via private jet to Punta Mita, Mexico, Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller enjoyed a long weekend at the Four Seasons.

The couple, who announced earlier this month they will work on their relationship for the sake of their twins, traveled south of the border to celebrate Brooke's birthday and good behavior in rehab, according to TMZ.

In an interview with Chuck Zito on HowardTV, Sheen said, "The goddesses are gone, but it looks like the real goddesses have stepped in."

Sheen revealed he had both Richards and Mueller over to his house with the goal of being able to spend more time with his kids.

Divorced couple Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were together last weekend with their twins -- and plan on working hard to mend their relationship for the sake of their children, according to TMZ.

"Their boys are my daughters' half-brothers," explained Richards. "I give Brooke a lot of credit. I know that she's struggling with her addiction and she wants to be the best mom she can be."
