Brooke has two daughters, Neriah and Sierra Sky, from a former marriage. David and Brooke also have two children together -- daughter Heaven Rain and son Shaya Braven.
"Dancing with the Stars" season 7 is a wrap -- and the L.A. rainstorms did not stop the stars from celebrating!
Winner Brooke Burke didn't get to enjoy the festivities; she immediately hopped on a plane with Derek Hough for the Big Apple for various TV appearances. But Brooke's fiancé David Charvet celebrated for the both of them.
Former contestant Cloris Leachman also let loose at the after party. Afterward, it was so wet outside, she had to be carried to her cab!
The party continued this morning on "Good Morning America" when the finalists showed their championship hip-shaking.
The new season of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres in March!
TV personality and model Brooke Burke was crowned season 7 champ last night on "Dancing with the Stars." The 37-year-old mother of four was announced the winner after the judges scores were combined with viewer votes.
Professional partner and first time winner Derek Hough was in shock, saying, "I actually can't believe it! I really can't, I honestly can't. The journey's been so long. It's been tough. It's been wonderful. It's been everything I could ever hope for. Wow. I can't believe we actually did it, girl!"
Burke came in first place eight out of ten times, receiving a 10 from the judges 16 times this season. She was able to maintain an eight point lead over Super Bowl champ Warren Sapp. The former football star took second place with professional partner Kym Johnson. *N Sync's Lance Bass landed in the third spot with partner Lacey Schwimmer.
Previous season 7 competitors included actor Cody Linley, Olympic sprinter Maurice Green, soap star Susan Lucci, Oscar-winner Cloris Leachman, chef Rocco DiSpirito, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, actor Ten McGinley, comedian Jeffrey Ross, volleyball star Misty May-Treanor and singer Toni Braxton.
Some of the contestants will hop on a tour bus for a 38-city "Dancing with the Stars" tour. The show kicks off December 17 in San Diego.
Last night on "Dancing with the stars" Brooke Burke, Lance Bass, and Warren Sapp went head-to-head in the finals. It was the last chance for the stars to win over the vote with the "Samba Smackdown" and a freestyle round.
Brooke Burke proved she won't go home without a fight, as she and partner Derek Hough had no problem with their samba and made the freestyle round look like a piece of cake. The couple grooved to "Grease's" "The One That I Want" with lifts, spins and acrobatics. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised the partners, saying they totally "brought it," and Len Goodman was impressed, saying it was the best freestyle he's ever seen. The judges scored the couple with 10s all around -- a perfect 30! Brooke's final score for the night was 58/60.
*NSync star Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer also showed the sexy samba was a cinch, but they had a hard time winning over the judges in the freestyle round, for which Lance and Lacey aka Lancey, brought back some of Bass's boy band dance moves. The couple danced hip-hop to Run-DMC's "It's Tricky" and even incorporated a smidge of the cha-cha. Judge Bruno Tonioli enjoyed the creativity while Carrie Ann loved the beginning and the end, but not the splash of cha-cha in the middle. Lancey scored a disappointing 27 and 53/60 overall.
Superbowl Champ Warren Sapp is a smooth operator on and off the field. In the freestyle round, Sapp and partner Kym Johnson started out slow with "Rolling on the River" and then they stripped down to a sped up version of the tune. Carrie Ann said it was her favorite routine, but she saw a mistake with an expression on Warren's face. Len gave the couple a 10 "for entertainment" and the couple tied with Lancey with 53/60 for the night.
