Rocker Bret Michaels has found a thorn in his rose. He and longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson have pulled the plug on their 16-year relationship.

Over 10,000 runners participated Sunday in the Dodge Rock 'n Roll Los Angeles Half Marathon and Mini Marathon to benefit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

This party shook up the streets of Los Angeles and kept runners rockin' from start to finish, including "Extra's" own Maria Menounos. Local bands were at every mile, with an action-packed Finish Line Festival, including a performance by Bret Michaels.

Days before Bret Michaels' heart surgery, the rocker told "Extra" on the set of his new Ford commercial that he planned on focusing on his engagement after he recuperates from the procedure. Bret proposed to longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson last month on the season finale of his reality show, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It."
